We had a fantastic summer holiday at home. Sean's sister Bev was out from the States and we had a wonderful vacation altogether! Sean also had lots of fun with his new zooty Cannon camera that Santa Claus brought him for Christmas!!

New Years Eve 2008/9

Sunset concerts in the Helderberg Nature Reserve

Summer time is always fantastic in the Cape! And there is always a feast of sunset concerts to go to. Our favourite venues are The Helderberg Nature Reserve and The Paul Cluver Ampitheatre in the forest.

Sean has done a scuba diving course in Jamaica

Sean has always wanted to do a scuba course and during his year and a half stint in Jamaica he finally completed not only the beginners course but also the advanced course!!

Holiday to the Garden Route Game Lodge

We had a wonderful vacation to a private game reserve along the Garden Route. Check out the cheetah stalking Ciara. She was not allowed into the enclosure coz she was too short - dinner!!!!

Who said a pool net can keep anything out of the pool! We have had to be responsible parents and put the pool net on as Coal can't quite get out yet.

Family Day at Somerset College

The school where I teach which Ciara attends is turning 10 years old. To celebrate Ciara and her class mates entertained all the grannies, granddads, moms and dads for the morning.
