As the wind can really blow inGordons Bay, whenever we have a wind free day we really enjoy time in the garden swimming and braaing.

Summer has arrived

Summer has finally arrived and the garden, which is planted with indigenous plants and fynbos only is in full bloom. We love to watch the birds and butterflies enjoy the garden too!

School Annual Fair

We have just had our annual school fair. A blast was had by all. Ciara was exhausted that night!

We do not encourage the dogs to be inside as they are always wet from swimming, but Layla is such a lap dog! and she just loves her comfort.

Thought that I might add a rare picture of Sean and I together. This was taken at a school derby day against Westerford. Sean spent most of the morning braaing wors - with beer in hand never a happier man!

Ciara turns 5 years old

So I survived the first few years and yes, my baby has turned five recently!

A new puppy to add to the family

So we already have fish, Cider the ginger cat, Slade the pedigree labrador that thinks that he is a rottweiller and Lege the cross labrador. Now we have Layla, the golden retriever!
